St. Juan Diego

A few days ago Mrs. Darwin had a birthday, in honor of which it is the custom to hold the annual I Remember Mrs. Darwin Festival of Mendacity.  I participated in this Festival, but I ran out of steam before I could proceed on to the next step, posting the meme to my own blog.  Now, however, I’m making up for lost time.  Here are the rules:

If you read this, if your eyes are passing over this right now, even if we don’t speak often, please post a comment with a COMPLETELY MADE UP AND FICTIONAL MEMORY OF YOU AND ME.
It can be anything you want–good or bad–BUT IT HAS TO BE FAKE.
When you’re finished, post this paragraph on your blog and be surprised (or mortified) about what people DON’T ACTUALLY remember about you.

So, my dears, if you would be so kind, tell me lies?

In other news, bit by bit I am regaining my strength and stamina.  The whole process feels very slow and frustrating to me. However, Indy pointed out that it wasn’t so many days ago that I could barely make it to the bathroom and back on my own, so I shouldn’t get discouraged when simply walking back and forth between my parents’ house and my own wipes me out, but instead thank God that I can make the trip at all.  So I’m trying to adopt that mindset.  Truthfully, every day I am a little better and a little stronger than the day before, so I have a lot to be grateful for.

In the meantime, do lie to me a little – I’ll enjoy it ever so much!
