A while ago I promised that soon I would show you pictures of the incredible invitations that Indy made for The Duchess’s wedding.
This is the whole suite laid out so that you can see it all at once. Note the clever wrap-around address label/return address label on the envelope.
This is the front of the invitation, featuring a portrait of The Duchess and 007, their initials, and a gorgeous medallion of The Immaculate Conception. Indy drew a lot of inspiration from vintage seed packet art, and the autumn theme that The Duchess is using.
The invitation opens like a set of doors to show the text inside. I love the different fonts that Indy used, and the frame of tree branches!
This is the back of the invitation.
And a closer look at the picture of St. Joseph on the bottom.
And another monogram from the back of the RSVP card.
If you’d like to find out more about the invitations, Indy blogged about it here. She says she’s thinking about putting together more generic invitation suites that brides could buy to print their own wedding invitations. If you think this would be a good idea, I encourage you to go comment on her post and tell her so!
